Trenant point is on the fork of the Looe River opposite the Millpool, with Kilminorth Woods on the left and Trenant on the right. Kilminorth Woods are an ancient semi-natural Western Oak woodland. The area has been wooded since at least 1600 AD and is a Local Nature Reserve.
