- The collection consists of 365,000 photographs of a very high quality, fully titled and dated (by year).
- Over 7,000 towns & villages throughout the UK including Scotland, Wales, Northern and Southern Ireland have old photographs.
- There are an average of 30 pictures for each of the smaller towns and villages; 80 for the larger towns and as many as 300 for a number of cities. There are 425 photographs of Looe!
- Original negatives for 98% of the views still exist. The quality of the pre 1940 negatives is outstanding and so good they can, with few exceptions, be enlarged to 40' by 25' murals! For this reason it is also possible to enlarge and extract small details from most subjects.
