Dehwelans Kernow comes to Looe

The Cornish are coming to Looe this year and it promises to be a truly spectacular week of Cornish culture and events.

The week long event kicks off on the Tuesday 2nd September at the Mayor’s Reception which will be hosted by Ron Overd, the present Mayor of Looe.

Looe is mustering people from far and wide to provide an enthusiastic welcome for the Cornish people who have left Cornwall but return each Dehwelans Kernow.

Some of the events on offer will be:

  • Cornish history, culture and traditions
  • Family history
  • Food, drink and local produce
  • Music, dance and entertainment
  • Fishing, boating and sailing
