Election Question Time in Looe

Looe Chamber of Commerce has organised a public debate featuring all seven Parliamentary candidates standing for South East Cornwall

Looe Question Time Candidates

This is a seat which, in the event of a hung Parliament could be crucial.

It’s on Wednesday 21st April at Looe Community School, starting at 7.30pm.

Chamber spokesman Derek Braithwaite said: “We think this is a unique opportunity to have a debate between the candidates and the people.

Many people in south-east Cornwall feel disenfranchised by Westminster and short-changed by our own county council.

This is the opportunity for people to have their say and then make up their mind on who is fit to represent us at Westminster and with a hung parliament in the air, this is an election where every vote could count”.

The evening will be chaired by John Warne, a Looe man with many years experience in how government works

All questions will be spontaneous.
