West Looe Beach is great for rock-pooling in the summer – you’ll see adults and children clambering over the rocks with their nets whenever the tide is out.
A couple of weeks ago I was running along the sea defences and spied this green seaweed almost glowing in the spring sunshine. It was cold and frosty and if you look carefully you can see that the water in the rock pools is frozen over!

I’m writing this at 23.31pm and thinking that there isn’t much more I can say about this picture except that sometimes you see the most beautiful things when you least expect to. Keep your eyes wide open and see you tomorrow.
