Landslide in West Looe

Heavy rain over the past few weeks may have been to blame for the landslip on Quay Road, West Looe on Monday morning. Fortunately, the bungalow was unoccupied at the time, so no one was injured, but a white Volkswagen van belonging to local man Lee Provost wasn’t so lucky. A second landslip occurred on Tuesday morning, bringing down yet more rubble on top of the vehicle. The area has now been cordoned off in the interest of safety and a full structural report is been carried out.
