The Looe Daily Photo – Day 5

The Looe Daily Photo Day 3Today’s picture in Looe is of the Banjo Pier, early in the morning in almost flat calm conditions.

When I run round to the gym, this is the hard bit! I just get past Nelson the Seal (see Day 3) and then I have to climb some steps and jog up the hill which runs alongside the river. It’s the slope that gets me but it’s getting easier!

This viewpoint is usually a great place to see boats, gulls and even fish if you’re lucky. But on this day, about a week ago, it was just calm, peaceful and lovely.

The Banjo is a very unusual design and is there to help protect Looe Harbour and East Looe Beach from storms. I’ll try to write something up in detail for the website someday.

Until then, click the “Read More…” link to see what I saw.

Not much to say today as it’s a Sunday and I fancy the day off. Perhaps I’ll see you around Looe. Nod and say “Hi” if you see me.

As always, please leave a comment and see you tomorrow. Cheers. Chris.
